What I really needed in a really dark season was a slow process. This piece was just that. I painted it, then painted over it, then painted it again. The emotion I’ve poured into this piece surpasses most of my work. As I’ve worked through some heavy stuff, this work has been my landing place. It’s my hope that someone else who connects with this piece the way I have will find light in a dark place.
